Each Chromebook has a keyboard, and taking a screen capture with the keyboard can be possible in a couple of ways.
How to Capture / Screenshot
To capture your whole screen, press the Ctrl + window switch key.
To capture the just piece of the screen, press the Ctrl + Shift + window switch key, at the same time click and drag your cursor to choose the area of your screen you’d like to capture.
Note: If you’re using an external keyboard then you will need to press Ctrl + F5 and Ctrl + Shift + F5, respectively.
If are using a Samsung Chromebook Plus or Pro for the Pixelbook and also use its pen, Then you have one other an additional option available for capturing your screen. When you use this pen, you’ll see the menu the lower right corner.
